Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements for diverse industries, ensuring compliance with regulatory, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare income tax returns for a range of entities, including companies, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Tax Planning: Conduct tax planning for clients and provide advice on business operations and regulatory matters.
  • Business Advisory: Deliver a variety of business and tax advisory services.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist junior staff and clients, or collaborate closely with Senior Accountants and Managers on client engagements.
  • Complex Task Management: Manage more complex tasks and a higher volume of advisory work.
Requirements
  • Relationship-Building Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various levels and teams within the organisation while delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Australian Taxation Experience: Demonstrated experience in Australian taxation.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work approach.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Professional Qualifications: Currently pursuing a CA or CPA qualification.
  • Desirable Skills: Knowledge of and experience with Advanced Professional Solutions (APS) and/or Xero is desirable.
