Our team is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our diverse range of businesses from start-ups to global entities, providing exceptional accounting services.

The role will focus on clients in the Healthcare Industry and involve preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other documents in accordance with regulatory and financial reporting standards.

You will have the opportunity to work with numerous clients across various industries, developing your skills and expertise.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare a range of financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting and financial reporting standards;
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns for all entities, ensuring timely submission and compliance;
  • Work Paper Development: Prepare clear and concise work papers to support financial statement preparation;
  • Tax Planning: Perform tax planning for clients, identifying opportunities to minimise tax liabilities;
  • BAS Preparation: Prepare Business Activity Statements, ensuring accurate and timely submissions;
  • Fringe Benefit Tax: Prepare Fringe Benefit Tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Clients Support: Assist clients with business operations and regulatory matters, providing expert advice and guidance;
  • New Business Setup: Assist with the setup of new businesses, including structuring advice, financial analysis, due diligence and cash flow projections;
  • Monthly Reporting: Assist with monthly/quarterly management reporting, providing insights into business performance;
  • General Administration: Perform general business administration tasks, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

About You

  • You are a team player, committed to supporting colleagues and contributing to our vibrant culture;
  • You hold CA or CPA qualifications, or are currently undertaking studies;
  • You have 3-4 years experience in Business Services, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices;
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to establish professional relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • You demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to work;
  • You have experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
  • You may also have experience with Advanced Professional Solutions APS and Xero.
