Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive clinical services to individuals living with mental illness or disorder.
  • Engage with consumers, their nominated carers, and families to ensure care is inclusive, responsive, and rehabilitative.

Requirements
  • Current registration to practice as a registered nurse (division 1) with the Australian health practitioner regulation authority (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated skills in mental health and mental health nursing assessments and interventions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment to and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
  • Working knowledge of NSW mental health act, 2007.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer competence and literacy.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to use for work-purpose travel.
