Nurse Specialising in Mental Health

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the position of Mental Health Nurse. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge in mental health nursing.
This role is centred on providing comprehensive clinical services that are least intrusive, deeply collaborative, and firmly rooted in recovery-oriented principles.
You will engage with consumers, their nominated carers, and families to ensure care is inclusive, responsive, and rehabilitative, while promoting evidence-based interventions that support long-term wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualised care plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and provide ongoing support to consumers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consumers, carers, and families
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
- Demonstrated skills in mental health and mental health nursing assessments and interventions
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Computer competence and literacy
