Mental Health Care Professional

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled mental health care professional to join our team in Katoomba. As part of our community-based services, you will be working with consumers, their nominated carers, and families to provide comprehensive clinical services that are least intrusive, deeply collaborative, and firmly rooted in recovery-oriented principles.

  • You will engage with consumers, their nominated carers, and families to ensure care is inclusive, responsive, and rehabilitative.
  • Collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated skills in mental health and mental health nursing assessments and interventions and experience working with people with mental illness.

  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
