Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator.

This is a hands-on role where no two days will look the same - from supplier and contract management to monitoring deliveries and accounts, you'll have a hand in every part of the process.

Job Responsibilities
  • Reporting: You will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
  • Contract Management: You will be responsible for managing contracts, purchasing, and supplier negotiations.
  • Coordination: You will coordinate materials, resources, schedules, and deliveries to keep projects on track.
  • Account Management: You will oversee accounts including invoicing, purchase orders, payables/receivables, supplier accounts, and debtor follow-up.
  • Financial Planning: You will prepare cashflow forecasts, budgets, and monthly summaries.
  • Compliance: You will maintain compliance records (insurance, registrations, licences).
  • Client and Supplier Relationships: You will build strong client and supplier relationships by acting as a trusted, responsive contact building strong client and supplier relationships, resolving issues proactively, and keeping projects on track.
Requirements
  • Experience: You should have experience in project coordination, contracts administration, or a similar role (construction, engineering, or equipment hire experience is a plus).
  • Technical Skills: You should be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); exposure to ERP/CRM systems beneficial.
  • Organisational Skills: You should have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercial Mindset: You should have a commercial mindset - confident in contracts, accounts, and supplier dealings.
  • Relationship-Building: You should be a natural relationship-builder with excellent communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You should be curious, proactive, and entrepreneurial, with the drive to take on increasing responsibility and make an impact.
