Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Service Supervisor to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the activities of our internal Service team to maintain customer satisfaction and meet organizational and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously strive to achieve operational targets set by the organization.
  • Ensure quality objectives are met, including lead-time, NCR, customer feedback, quality action list, calibration, testing and tagging, certification, tool listings, etc.
  • Ensure all relevant licenses, tickets, and inductions are current and up-to-date.
  • Supervise employees, contractors, and visitors as required from a health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and quality perspective.
  • Coordinate internal Service jobs and release and coordinate Service production orders.
  • Provide technical support to Sales Engineers and Technicians.
  • Maintain and supervise upgrades of the test rig.
  • Train, guide, and support junior staff (apprentice and trades assistants) to improve capacity within the team.

Requirements

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
  • Mechanical Trade certificate with a minimum of 5 years post-trade experience.
  • Proven experience managing a team (Team Leader/Supervisor/Leading Hand).
  • Able to demonstrate a high-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components.
  • Previous experience in hydraulic component repair.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Effective teamwork skills and attention to detail.
