Shipping Imports Administrator Role

This role involves working as part of a dynamic team to ensure the efficient processing and management of import shipments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process import manifests with high accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Generate timely arrival notices, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the shipment lifecycle.
  • Invoice freight and local charges, confirming payment from consignees in a prompt manner.
  • Arrange the release of cargo by maintaining effective communication with consignees and their agents.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to anticipate and mitigate potential issues arising during the import process.

They will demonstrate strong personal organization, meeting deadlines and displaying self-motivation. Additionally, they will have a good understanding of shipping procedures, documentation, and excel skills to at least an intermediate level.
