Hotel Operations Manager Job Description

Our hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee all hotel operations overnight.

About the Role

  • This is a key leadership role that requires exceptional management skills, with a focus on ensuring the safety and security of our guests and colleagues.
  • The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of hotel operations and will be responsible for training colleagues in quality and service standards.
  • They will also be responsible for leading by example and upholding InterContinental brand standards in all daily operations.
  • Responsibilities include managing night audit functions, preparing daily financial reports, and adhering to local regulations concerning health, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • They will also have at least four years of guest service/hotel experience, with two years in a management capacity.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to speak the local language are essential for this role.
  • A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol and First Aid Certificate are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration.
  • Four years of guest service/hotel experience with two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must speak local language.
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol and First Aid Certificate are required.
