Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of Amazon associates in one of the following areas within the Fulfillment Center Operations: receive, stow, pick, pack, or ship.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Directly responsible for leading and developing a team of Operations Amazon Associates, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  2. Health and Safety: Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, promoting a culture of safety and well-being among team members.
  3. Performance Management: Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborating with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives.
  5. Quality Control: Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
  6. Workforce Planning: Reviewing work forecasts and determining team requirements to produce during the day to meet overall building objectives.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  2. Management Experience: Experience as a manager, involving sizable teams, with a proven track record of motivating others and building strong relationships.
  3. Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities, conducting and driving Dive Deep analysis on complex processes.
  4. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Direct Management Experience: Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
  2. Performance Metrics: Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  4. Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification.
