Job Title: Workforce Planner

Organisation Environment

Our Organisation provides support services to individuals with disabilities, aiming to enhance their quality of life. We strive to offer independence and assistance in both home and community settings.

We provide various support services including in-home assistance, accommodation support, and everyday life skill development through one-to-one sessions and group options.

Position Summary

The Workforce Planner oversees the implementation, planning, and support for rosters to ensure reliable service delivery to participant schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure sufficient staff are rostered to meet participant care needs and anticipated service demands.

Develop an appropriate supplementary plan for each scheduled participant.

Comply with relevant regulatory frameworks and legislative requirements.

Ensure fair staffing and flexibility to deliver care to participants.

Promote participant independence by creating opportunities for Support Workers to engage with multiple suitable workers.

Consider leave types when planning and implementing rosters.

Maintain proposed rosters daily to adapt coverage to variable demands.

Ensure effective utilisation of staff through efficient and safe rostering.

Work with Team Leaders to maintain an effective roster in line with principles and award requirements.
