Supply Chain Management Role

This is an opportunity for a 12-week internship in supply chain management at a leading engineering and manufacturing firm.

The selected candidate will be involved in implementing the company's supply chain strategy, optimising production chains, and managing inventory and stock for the production line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct risk assessments for all suppliers and products, ensuring alternate supply channels are in place
  • Regularly review and evaluate inventory, liaising with vendors and supply partners
What You Will Learn:
  • On-site experience with inventory management, sourcing, vendor engagement, and product evaluation
  • Negotiating and liaison skills, working with relevant stakeholders to optimise the supply chain
  • Opportunity to get involved in radio management and MCU application experience
  • MAPPING SUPPLY CHAINS TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES AND REDUCE SUPPLY DISRUPTION
  • Experience in the Australian supply chain industry, opportunities to network across industries and with vendors
