Commercial Administrator

The Design Commercial Administrator plays a key role in the procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting of construction project trade contracts. This position requires building strong working relationships to meet the expectations of internal and external stakeholders, achieving project WHS, commercial, quality, and program objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing commercial and financial activities to ensure completed works meet project objectives;
- Managing procurement, establishment, and administration of subcontracts and supply agreements;
- Ensuring commercial administration activities align with Scentre policies and procedures;
- Assisting in timely and accurate submission of project reporting.
This role involves working at pace to deal with queries on pricing, communicating clearly and consistently with subcontractors, and attending weekly meetings with stakeholders to understand progress and site updates.
This is a 12-month full-time contract.
Requirements include:
- Qualification in a related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience in a similar commercial role;
- Accuracy in forecasting and cost management;
- Effective time management skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
