About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled professional to support newly qualified international midwives and new staff members in feeling confident and thriving in their working environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • We require the successful candidate to stay up-to-date with preceptor programme support and education, and understand the assessment process for post-registration practitioners.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior staff and assessors to provide a robust induction and orientation for learners and newly qualified practitioners.
  • This role involves working closely with the Head of Education: Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals to ensure consistent post-registration education across our organisation.
  • Contributions to policy development for post-registration placements and B5 RNs working in maternity are also required.
  • The successful candidate will lead and promote midwifery care among team members.
