About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Information Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our agile network development team, you will be responsible for the development, integration, and deployment of security-accredited ICT systems.

You will work closely with technical colleagues and stakeholders to provide IT technical and administration support for mission planning systems. This includes supporting the sustainment, security, and evolution of ICT systems across fixed and deployed environments.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that mission systems meet the operational needs of users. You will play a key role in identifying and managing technical risks, while contributing to program documentation and reporting.

  • Supporting the development, introduction to service, sustainment, and enhancement of mission planning software and hardware.
  • Maintenance and configuration of physical servers, networking hardware, and mission planning laptops.
  • Installing, configuring, testing, and deploying software.
  • Providing support on defence strategic networks.
  • Assisting with security accreditation activities for mission planning systems.
