Inventory Management Specialist
About the Role:The Supply Chain team is dynamic and collaborative with a love for fashion. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will take responsibility for maintaining and improving inventory accuracy across systems and global fulfilment channels.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain and improve inventory accuracy across systems and global fulfilment channels
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and item integrity issues
- Coordinate intercompany transfers between markets with financial accuracy
- Partner with Finance on key milestones to ensure accurate stock transactions
- Support DC stocktakes and cycle counts across all warehouses
- Oversee procurement of warehouse consumables
- Collaborate with IT on inventory system integration and issue resolution
- Develop documentation and training on inventory practices
- Identify and address aged or fragmented inventory; optimise lifecycle management
- Lead and mentor one direct report focused on inventory admin and reporting
- Develop and maintain KPIs to track item integrity and system performance
- Report on cycle count data and inventory discrepancies across distribution centres
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (preferred)
- Additional certifications (e.g. APICS, Lean, Six Sigma) highly regarded
- 3-5 years' experience in inventory or supply chain systems management within retail/e-commerce
- Experience with system optimisation
- Knowledge of inventory control, stock flow, and lifecycle management
- ERP system experience (Net Suite and RMS preferred)
- Excel proficiency and data analysis/reporting capability
- Experience in system integrations and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
