The role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team on infrastructure projects in Sydney, NSW. This permanent position offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities:

  • To perform detailed reviews and analyses of Cost Plans for large complex projects, including full measurement and rating exercises. To prepare Cost Plans in a format that permits ease of optioneering.
  • To complete detailed cost reporting forms.
  • To have a comprehensive understanding of the source of cost and budget information for project reports.
  • To prepare detailed and reliable forecasts of cash inflow and outflow for complex projects.

About you

  • You will have a degree in construction management, building, or engineering, or equivalent, coupled with extensive post-graduate experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
  • You will have obtained or be working towards MRICS.
  • You will possess comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of contract management, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation, and administration.
  • You will be able to articulate quality standards and expectations to relevant internal and external stakeholders applicable to your project/function.
  • You will demonstrate ability to work in a methodical and regulated approach to planning and executing the project using appropriate controls.
  • You will deliver agreed outcomes ensuring the project is managed to budget and time frames.
