The Rehabilitation and Injury Management Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting Senior Managers with information and training on Occupational Rehabilitation and Injury Management Issues.
This position requires expertise to facilitate a safe, timely, and durable return to duties for ill and injured employees. Collaborative efforts with the Workforce Safety & Wellbeing team are essential in developing and implementing injury management strategies.
A key focus is on collecting and analyzing data to inform injury management decisions and identify trends.
Reports and information must be prepared for senior managers and other stakeholders.
About You:- You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or an appropriate discipline, along with workers compensation and injury management experience and expertise.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required, as well as conflict resolution skills.
- A thorough understanding of injury management principles and managing a large caseload, including complex and long-term cases, is crucial.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation and relevant regulations is necessary.
- Experience in using SolvInjury or similar injury management database, Health Roster, Stafflink, and Microsoft Office applications is required.
- SIRA Return to Work Coordinator Accreditation is preferred.
