Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

This is a highly rewarding role that involves delivering comprehensive assessments and counseling services to individuals who are navigating complex rehabilitation plans.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized return-to-work plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Design and implement effective Return-to-Work (RTW) programs that support injured employees in their recovery and transition back to the workforce.
  • Provide expert counseling services to help clients manage the emotional and psychological aspects of their injury or illness.

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (or related field).
  • Registration:
  • Registration with AHPRA or ASORC is required.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
