Occupational Therapist Role

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team in Penrith and surrounding areas.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for experienced and novice Occupational Therapists alike to make a positive impact in the community, working collaboratively with participants, families, and other professionals to deliver quality support services.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate tailored treatment goals for each participant.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and provide expert advice on environmental adaptations, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
  • Recommend Assistive Technology solutions to help participants overcome functional limitations and promote independence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and a desire to learn from new ideas and improve outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for working in the disability sector.
