Key Role: Associate Director Inclusion
Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our team as the Associate Director, Inclusion. This pivotal role will shape and implement Diversity and Inclusion strategies and programs across our organization, ensuring a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
In this integral position, you will lead and manage engagement with key stakeholders and departmental staff to deliver on our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) vision and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). You will be responsible for designing and implementing organizational approaches, governance, and programs to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
You will work closely with our First Nations colleagues who are employment, learning, and engagement specialists, reporting to the Executive Director, Treasury Finance and Services and having a dotted reporting line to the Executive Sponsor, DIB. The role requires building trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including our Treasury Indigenous network.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated high-level skills and extensive experience in project and/or program management and evaluation, including stakeholder engagement across all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage complex projects, and deliver DIB outcomes, achievements, and activities.
- Deep understanding of First Nations cultures, including historical, economic, and social factors impacting outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in DIB design, development, delivery, and evaluation of diverse workplace programs and strategies.
- Strong cultural competency and awareness, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively in diverse contexts.
- Extensive experience in the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of diverse Culture, Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Learning, and Leadership Development strategies and programs.
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical thinking, and research skills and experience with complex data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, consultation, negotiation, leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
