About the Role:

This role oversees weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and full-year performance reporting for RBS, providing strategic commercial advice to the RBS Leadership team and CFO. You will prepare high-quality presentations and analysis for senior management, engaging with stakeholders to understand drivers of financial and business performance.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, analytical skills, and experience managing senior stakeholders. They should have 10+ years of Financial Services experience in Retail Banking, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven approach.

This Strategic Business Leader will work closely with the RBS CFO, Performance Management GM, Group Finance, and other stakeholders to inform operational and strategic decision-making. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of your team and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of performance reporting
  • Strategic commercial advice to the RBS Leadership team and CFO
  • Preparation of high-quality presentations and analysis for senior management
  • Engagement with stakeholders to understand drivers of financial and business performance
  • Acting as the key point of contact for the RBS CFO and Group Finance
  • Driving implementation of the RBS Finance data analytics strategy
  • Supporting risk mitigation and contributing to the financial risk and control framework
  • Managing a team of direct and indirect reports and maintaining a positive work culture
