Residential Housing Solutions Lead

This key leadership role is responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality solutions in the residential housing market, encompassing a range of designs from single-storey to double-storey and transportable structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Oversight
  • Producing and reviewing site plans, drainage plans, and related documentation to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Quality Control
  • Reviewing engineering reports and documentation to guarantee quality control and support skill development among team members.
  • Client Management
  • Managing client interactions, including setting agendas, capturing minutes, and monitoring feedback to maintain strong relationships.
  • Site Meetings
  • Attending site meetings with stakeholders like builders, homeowners, and contractors to address concerns and provide updates.
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders, including engineers, staff, builders, contractors, and councils to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in volume housing.
  • Prior experience in designing residential/low-rise structures.
  • Familiarity with timber, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and related designs.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as ClearCalcs, Space Gass, Toolkit, Inducta (advantageous), RAPT (advantageous).
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Australian standards and building codes, including AS2870, AS1684, AS1170, AS3600, AS4100, NCC.
