Job Overview

The role of Senior Building Surveyor plays a pivotal part in the delivery of homes and housing options for the community.

We are committed to accelerating the build of a diverse range of housing options, striving to find solutions to the urgent demand for housing security.

  • This position involves providing expert advice and undertaking tasks on a range of projects and programs that develop and implement building-related technical and compliance matters.
  • The focus areas include understanding state building control, associated Codes and standards, and related local government and private sector administrative processes.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing expert advice to the development of professional standards, objectives, and priorities for programs, projects, and services.
  • Conducting research and analysis to resolve complex issues and support effective management of assigned programs, assets, and systems.
  • Leading and managing complex projects, including resource planning, setting work priorities, and motivating teams to achieve performance standards.
  • Delivering high-impact professional duties, applying innovative approaches to support strategic goals and service delivery.
