About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced chef to join our culinary team at Bracken House Aged Care Facility in Dubbo. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals that meet the dietary and cultural needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals for residents in accordance with their dietary requirements and preferences
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the food services team to achieve exceptional service standards
Requirements
  • Experience in bulk cooking, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge and experience in working to compliance with food safety standards to HACCP level
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
