The Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, implementing, and evaluating the nutritional content of menus for children of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking meals that meet the dietary needs of children with allergies, specific dietary requirements, and individual child requirements.
  • Managing stock, inventory, and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve menu planning goals and objectives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current Food Safety and Handlers (Health and Community) Certificate.
  • Experience in an early childhood setting, preferably in a similar culinary role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
