Logistics Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with the deployment and continuous improvement of logistics operational systems, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rollout strategies for logistics operational systems across key sites nationwide.
  • Support site-specific implementation plans, incorporating system configuration, layout, processes, and requirements.
  • Create WMS training programs, including user guides, assessments, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • IDentify site super users and deliver WMS operator training.
  • Support alternate technology solutions, including SCI reporting and custom projects, to improve safety outcomes and productivity.
  • Maintain system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and analyze performance data.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to refine optimization strategies and drive business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with tier-1 warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution functions, including demand/supply business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement new systems, process mapping, and gap analysis.
  • Training development expertise, including needs analysis and classroom training.
  • Train-the-Trainer certification and in-house training program experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as required.
