Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Your primary objective will be to develop and implement comprehensive project strategies, leveraging your expertise in construction management to mitigate risks and maximize efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project engineers, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans
  • Oversee project planning, coordination, and implementation, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards
  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure project success
  • Manage project expenditure, cash flow, and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations, delivering tailored project solutions that meet their requirements

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant project management tools
