The Voith Group is a global technology company with a broad portfolio of systems, products, services, and digital applications.

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan the balance of plant mechanical work scope and provide technical support.
  • Prepare technical and site-specific documentation for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process and evaluate bids/offers.
  • Provide mobilization and demobilization management, purchase orders, and site documentation creation.
  • Support the development of HSE & Quality plans and provide technical support to the site team.
  • Participate in design review meetings and ensure field-related design considerations.
  • Prepare and maintain subcontractor work packages and participate in short- and medium-term work planning.
  • Review and support data quality in our construction management software.
Requirements
  • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Able to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in supervision of BoPm installation in large hydro power projects or similar industries.
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of construction project management best practices.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
Working Conditions
  • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
  • A typical work schedule of 10 hours per day, 7 days a week.
  • Camp accommodation is provided.
