About the Role

The Suicide Prevention Team Leader will lead, mentor, and supervise a team of coordinators and peer workers to deliver the services of Warmline and TRISP programs. They will build relationships with stakeholders, oversee service governance, and collaborate with Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drug, and Suicide Prevention consortia to ensure seamless support for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage participant intake, risk management, critical incidents, and ensure regular service evaluation and reporting to meet objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree with appropriate experience, or Associate Diploma, in the field of study in; Community Sector Management, Community Services, Social Services or Social Welfare, with substantial experience or less formal qualifications with specialised skills sufficient to perform at this level.
  • Experience in a supervisory role, leading and coaching teams in a formal capacity to deliver high-performance and quality client outcomes.
  • Right to work within Australia.
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card.
  • Working with Children's Check/Blue Card.
