Lead Regulator for Quality Education

As a Senior Regulatory Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority in ensuring that children have access to quality early childhood education and care services.
- You will ensure consistent and fair application of relevant early childhood education and care legislation, standards, policies and guidelines in the regulation of the ECEC sector.
- You will develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional offices and ECEC providers and services, to achieve regulatory outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced regulator or someone who can rapidly acquire knowledge of regulating the ECEC sector. You will have strong leadership skills and be able to prioritise and complete projects and tasks efficiently.
- You will possess decision-making skills and be able to manage risk and prioritise work.
- You will be able to work collaboratively with a range of different stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting assessment and rating or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and complete training in this area.
They will also have a passion for early childhood education and care and be able to understand the role of the regulator.
