Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide educational support and training to nursing staff within the ward, promoting competence and excellence in their practice.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care.
  • Mentor and support new graduates, students, and experienced nurses, helping them grow professionally and personally.
  • Facilitate orientation and ongoing competency assessments, monitoring compliance with mandatory training requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best practice standards are maintained across the ward.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Competence in delivering adult education at a ward level and understanding learning and assessment principles are essential skills.
