About the Role
To provide clinical education and training within the ward to promote competence of nursing staff.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement and evaluate education programs for staff
- Mentor and support new graduates, students and experienced nurses
- Facilitate orientation and ongoing area competency assessments and monitor compliance to mandatory training
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best practice standards
About You
You will need to hold a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and have demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Do you have competence in the delivery of adult education at a ward level and understanding and learning and assessment principles.
