
Women's Health Nurse Specialist

The role of a Women's Health Nurse Clinical Specialist Grade 2 involves delivering expert clinical services to vulnerable populations. As an expert clinician, educator, consultant, mentor, and clinical care supervisor, you will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of women's health clinical services to those at risk of poor health outcomes.
You will develop and provide education, community development, and health promotion programs to support the well-being of women. Weekly Family Planning Clinics will be conducted in collaboration with our VMO.

- Develop and provide education and health promotion programs
- Conduct weekly Family Planning Clinics
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of your specified post-graduate qualification are also essential. Additionally, you must demonstrate a thorough understanding of issues affecting marginalized women and their risk of poor health outcomes.
This includes having knowledge of domestic and family violence, sexual assault on women, their children, and families in mainstream and Aboriginal communities. Your ability to work effectively in these areas is crucial for success in this position.
