Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a meticulous and experienced Inventory Controller to oversee inventory management at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate inventory data to determine stock requirements, ensuring optimal levels in collaboration with clients.
  • Maintain inventory precision through regular physical counts and cycle counting processes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve inventory discrepancies to enhance customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Track and report on inventory metrics, focusing on damaged goods, returns, and necessary adjustments.
  • Facilitate stock transactions in accordance with client reconciliation protocols.
  • Engage in consistent communication with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Verify the accuracy of all orders prior to dispatch.
  • Adhere to Linfox's standards, policies, and procedures, including compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management system.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and the ability to manage all aspects of inventory control effectively. Key qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in inventory management.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines.
