We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Inventory Manager to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe. As a critical member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve operational warehouse and logistics cost savings and issues, ensuring cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
- Inventory Optimization: Develop analytical models to make recommendations to stakeholders for inventory optimization and E&O.
- Negotiation and Partnership: Negotiate with Operations Group at 3PL and transport suppliers to ensure available resources to support Critical Care demands.
- Consignment Audits: Partner with relevant teams for timely completion of consignment audits.
- Operational and Project Opportunities: Identify and lead the implementation of changes to drive improvements in collaboration with cross-functional and/or matrixed teams.
- Logistics Projects: Provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute logistics projects and/or initiatives with limited complexity.
- Supply Chain Strategies: Perform analyses to drive supply chain strategies while utilizing global logistics knowledge.
- Logistical and Warehouse Costs: Accountable for logistical and warehouse costs as well as yearly strategy & AOP planning.
- Inbound Shipments: Work with planners on a weekly basis to track inbound shipments.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Experience: 8 years of previous related experience in supply chain.
- Certifications: CTLD, APICS Certified.
- Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
- Logistics and Budgeting: Extensive experience of logistics and budgeting processes.
- Planning Concepts: Extensive understanding of planning concepts and requirements (e.g., CRP, Master Scheduling, Forecast, MRP, DRP).
- Sales, Inventory and Operating Planning: Extensive understanding of Sales, Inventory and Operating Planning (SIOP or S&OP).
- Knowledge Transfer: Ability to transfer essential knowledge and mentor other team members on specialized skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strict attention to detail.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.
- Project Management: Proven successful project management skills.
- MS Office Suite: Proven expertise in MS Office Suite.
- Facilitation and Presentation: Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Documentation and Communication: Excellent documentation, communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills.
- Analytical Experience: Strong analytical experience and intermediate to advanced Excel.
- ERP Systems: Strong experience with ERP systems use.
- Willingness to Learn: A willingness to get into the details, troubleshoot & firefight.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task.
- Adherence to Company Rules: Adhere to all company rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others.
