About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Inventory Manager to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe. As a critical member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve operational warehouse and logistics cost savings and issues, ensuring cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
  2. Inventory Optimization: Develop analytical models to make recommendations to stakeholders for inventory optimization and E&O.
  3. Negotiation and Partnership: Negotiate with Operations Group at 3PL and transport suppliers to ensure available resources to support Critical Care demands.
  4. Consignment Audits: Partner with relevant teams for timely completion of consignment audits.
  5. Operational and Project Opportunities: Identify and lead the implementation of changes to drive improvements in collaboration with cross-functional and/or matrixed teams.
  6. Logistics Projects: Provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute logistics projects and/or initiatives with limited complexity.
  7. Supply Chain Strategies: Perform analyses to drive supply chain strategies while utilizing global logistics knowledge.
  8. Logistical and Warehouse Costs: Accountable for logistical and warehouse costs as well as yearly strategy & AOP planning.
  9. Inbound Shipments: Work with planners on a weekly basis to track inbound shipments.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  2. Experience: 8 years of previous related experience in supply chain.
  3. Certifications: CTLD, APICS Certified.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
  2. Logistics and Budgeting: Extensive experience of logistics and budgeting processes.
  3. Planning Concepts: Extensive understanding of planning concepts and requirements (e.g., CRP, Master Scheduling, Forecast, MRP, DRP).
  4. Sales, Inventory and Operating Planning: Extensive understanding of Sales, Inventory and Operating Planning (SIOP or S&OP).
  5. Knowledge Transfer: Ability to transfer essential knowledge and mentor other team members on specialized skills.
  6. Attention to Detail: Strict attention to detail.
  7. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.
  8. Project Management: Proven successful project management skills.
  9. MS Office Suite: Proven expertise in MS Office Suite.
  10. Facilitation and Presentation: Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  11. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  12. Documentation and Communication: Excellent documentation, communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills.
  13. Analytical Experience: Strong analytical experience and intermediate to advanced Excel.
  14. ERP Systems: Strong experience with ERP systems use.
  15. Willingness to Learn: A willingness to get into the details, troubleshoot & firefight.
  16. Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task.
  17. Adherence to Company Rules: Adhere to all company rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others.
