**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our Buying Team at Costco's Head Office. This role is part of our Buying Team, responsible for all products and services sold and provided to members.
**Key Responsibilities**
Raise and manage domestic and international purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our warehouses, depots, and e-commerce site.
Review and analyze inventory levels across all locations, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize stock levels.
Plan and forecast sales plans and Open to Buys across multiple categories, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure alignment and execution.
Update item and supplier records for changes such as price, descriptions, delivery specifications, and technical product information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate and manage marketing promotions with Marketing and e-commerce teams, ensuring effective execution and measurement of campaign results.
Assist the Buyer and Assistant Buyer with various merchandise projects, providing support and expertise as needed.
Collaborate with Suppliers, Depots, Warehouse, and e-commerce teams to ensure seamless execution of inventory management and procurement processes.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, Accounting/Finance, Communications, or International Business.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, with strong organization and problem-solving skills.
Strong evaluation and analytical skills, with experience in data entry and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
AS400 experience is a plus.
