The Asset Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of physical assets, encompassing infrastructure and critical equipment. This position is responsible for maintaining asset lifecycles in alignment with organisational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategically managing asset lifecycles to ensure optimal utilisation and alignment with organisational objectives
- Maintaining accurate records of asset condition, maintenance, and replacement
- Developing and implementing asset management strategies to optimise resource allocation
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address asset-related risks and opportunities
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in asset management within a healthcare or complex infrastructure environment
- Strong analytical skills with experience in lifecycle costing and data analysis
- Knowledge of asset management standards and tools (e.g., ISO 55001)
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
Candidates should demonstrate a combination of technical knowledge and practical expertise in asset management. A strong understanding of organisational goals and strategic planning is essential.
Apart from academic qualifications, candidates should be able to demonstrate relevant work experience and a proven track record in asset management.
