We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage our assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily property management services, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring that our clients' assets are appropriately managed.
The role of asset manager is critical in executing ongoing tenancy management, including coordinating property inspections, repairs and maintenance, and maintaining property records. This involves administration and financial management, forecasting, arrears, and reporting. Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure optimal occupant satisfaction, manage and control essential, planned, reactive and preventative maintenance programs, procure and coordinate subcontractors, monitor and report on property performance, and develop and execute sustainability initiatives and value-adding strategies.
Responsibilities include:
Ongoing Tenancy Management: Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of leased properties
Administration and Financial Management: Managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Ensuring Optimal Occupant Satisfaction: Providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly
Maintenance Program Management: Coordinating and controlling maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements
Procurement and Coordination of Subcontractors: Sourcing and managing external contractors and suppliers
Property Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular updates
Sustainability Initiatives and Value-Adding Strategies: Developing and implementing environmentally friendly practices and initiatives to enhance asset value
To deliver the services required for this role, we are looking for someone who:
Is passionate about their work and committed to excellence
Has a minimum 5 years' experience in asset management or a related field
Has a Certificate IV or Diploma in Property or a related field
Can ensure processes put in place are followed, and proactively looks to improve operating efficiency and effectiveness continually
Brings experience working within tight operational deadlines
A track record in adding value to assets and sustainable initiatives
Intermediate knowledge of building management systems
