Cloud Transformation Leader

About the Role:

The Cloud Transformation team offers premium, long-term professional services to customers. Our purpose is to align with the biggest technical transformation initiatives of our customers, working as part of their technology team from start to finish.

The team consists of highly-skilled architects and engineers who have played critical roles in technical transformations at other enterprises, either individually or through technical leadership. They have seen firsthand what success looks like.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide guidance on each step of the customer cloud transformation journey related to cloud adoption frameworks.
  2. Assist customers in aligning people, processes, and workflows with cloud operating models.
  3. Contribute towards building a multi-cloud adoption framework.
  4. Articulate and redefine cloud consumption models in relation to HashiCorp workflows.
  5. Assist Enterprise CxOs in articulating business value achieved in building correct cloud consumption models.
  6. Help increase developer velocity while satisfying governance, risk, and controls objectives.
  7. Communicate the business value of cloud-based solutions to customer executives.
  8. Articulate the technical functionality of cloud products to multiple audiences.
  9. Educate and advise customers on how cloud tools can enable cloud adoption as part of their cloud transformation journey.
  10. Coordinate resources to assist with customer needs.
  11. Educate individual contributors on best practices regarding system administration, service administration, automation, and observability.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing technical systems and services.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps processes and automation.
  • Deep technical expertise in cloud and on-premise infrastructure management, application deployment, and security methodology.
  • Working proficiency with one or more cloud tools.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements for shared services.
  • Able to work well in group environments and independently.
  • Proven track record of assisting with or driving cloud transformation at one or more organizations.
  • Passion for thought leadership in cloud operating models, organizational transformation, cloud operations, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
  • Experience managing cloud maturity and capability assessments.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics in simple terms.
