National Practice Partner
About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced professional to lead our National Practice Partner team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma, as well as a strong understanding of child and family service systems and government practices and procedures.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs for jurisdictional partners, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and supervision of operational staff in best practice frameworks.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence across the organization, enabling a 'whole of organization' approach to evidence and trauma-informed child safeguarding practice.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop innovative approaches that prioritize the voices of children, families, and carers, ensuring accountability and connection in our work.
- Work closely with senior leaders to articulate, develop, and embed the organization's Practice Governance Framework, identifying opportunities for practice improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Significant experience in leadership and/or clinical roles within the safeguarding or community services sector.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training programs for operational staff in practice-related areas.
- Prior experience in providing coaching, mentoring, and reflective practice to senior leaders, clinicians, and other professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and engagement abilities.
- Ability to contribute collaboratively and constructively in both leadership and participant roles.
