Senior Mental Health Lead Position

The Department of Health in Tasmania is seeking a senior allied health professional to lead a team providing mental health services to young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and high-level case management for young individuals with mental health concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based treatment programs.
  • Develop and implement specialized treatment plans for complex cases.
  • Act as a role model and provide trauma-informed biopsychosocial assessments and therapies.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the relevant National Board or full membership with the relevant professional association.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/program of study in an allied health profession.

  • A competitive salary range $123,717 - $138,296 per annum.
  • 11.5% superannuation contribution.
  • Travel and relocation assistance up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
