Delivering high quality trauma informed mental health services to children and young people in out of home care requires a multidisciplinary approach. Our team is seeking a Lead Practitioner to provide clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and well-supported team committed to delivering innovative solutions for the mental health needs of children and young people in out of home care.

  • Provide clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies
  • Work alongside consultant psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to develop new child and youth mental health services in Tasmania
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated knowledge, skill, and expertise in providing clinical service delivery related to the program area
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant, evidenced-based contemporary approaches to child and youth mental health services
  • Demonstrated experience working in a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care approach to children, young people, and their families/significant others
