Sales Development Representative

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Representative to join our team at IPD Australia. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets, gross margin, and contribution targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales action plans in line with state strategy to achieve individual and team sales targets, gross margin, and contribution targets.
- Promote IPD's full range of solutions to various stakeholders, including end users, EPCs, and contractors, while gaining familiarity with market and business channels.
- Maintain high levels of technical and sales knowledge of IPD products and ensure effective qualification and closing of customer opportunities using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with local and national teams for resource allocation and contribute positively to monthly sales and project pipeline meetings.
- Attend industry events for networking and market intelligence while ensuring all activities are conducted safely and professionally.
- 5+ years sales experience within the Industrial Automation / Electrical sector.
- Engineering capability and supporting qualifications within the Industrial Automation / Electrical sector highly desirable.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and sales-focused.
- A collaborative team player.
- A sound communicator, possessing strong written communication and presentation skills.
- A sales professional with a strong sales process.
- Experienced in developing and executing sales strategies to build a strong sales pipeline.
- A consultative selling approach.
- A strong ability in value-based solution selling.
