Account Manager Role

Solenis is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals focused on delivering sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries.

You will take ownership of assigned accounts, ensuring business growth and client satisfaction. Your role involves technical servicing in addition to standard account management tasks.

Carefully managing chemical inventory onsite and handling it in line with HSE requirements is crucial. You will sample, test, and inspect Paper Machine stock streams and other interrelated systems. Additionally, you will perform equipment inspections, calibrations, and basic repairs to support operational reliability.

Your strong business acumen will help identify opportunities and drive value. A strong mechanical aptitude, coupled with the willingness to get hands-on, is essential. Holding a forklift truck license or being willing to undertake training to gain your ticket is required.

Clear communication skills are vital to engage stakeholders and demonstrate the value of our product and partnership. Pragmatic problem-solving skills, along with good report writing skills, are also necessary.

Regular travel to customer sites in Sydney is part of this role. Experience with Paper machines or within the Pulp industry is highly valued, as is a passion for chemistry and its applications.

This varied role requires a hands-on, adaptable professional who thrives in both technical and commercial settings.
