Our organization is seeking a skilled Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of electrical engineering projects and supporting the development of technical resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering assistance and support to project teams.
  • Assist in estimating variation works and additional major scopes of work.
  • Be a technical resource for projects, familiar with drawings, specifications, standards, and other technical requirements.
  • Interact with subcontractors and develop their networks.
  • Conduct technical investigations and provide commissioning assistance as needed.
  • Monitor, distribute, and enter inspection test reports (ITRs), review ITRs, and generate new ITR test packs to support quality objectives.
  • Enter data and test sheets into PIMS, monitor progress, and prepare reports.
  • Collate and construct electrical MDRs.
  • Perform redline mark-ups of drawings.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in electrical or electronics engineering.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a graduate or cadet electrical engineer.
  • Experience working on construction mining projects.
  • Self-motivation and a desire to achieve objectives.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Broad theoretical job knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team of professionals.
  • Committed to maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF editing software.
