Program Overview

The Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB) Program offers a specialist, trauma-safe, and culturally safe response to children and young people displaying harmful sexual behaviours.

About the Role

The program provides support to children, young people, and adults recovering from the adverse impacts of trauma and assists families and communities in their healing process.

The Clinical Coordinator will oversee Counsellor and Aboriginal Outreach Support Worker positions within the Specialist HSB Program.

This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity based in Port Hedland, Western Australia, within our Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviour Program. The position reports to the Principal Practitioner.

Key Selection Criteria
  • A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and values.
  • Experience working with children and young people affected by trauma and harmful sexual behaviours.
  • A Master's level qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field, with clinical experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • A valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk-assessed/client-facing roles).
