Job Summary

Meta Tech Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled ICT Support Technician to join our team. As an ICT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our computer systems, networks, and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair technical equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, SMART Boards, projectors, A/V equipment, and peripherals.
  • Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for all computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Manage the structure of our client's intranet and internal systems, and contribute to their development.
  • Monitor the efficiency of our client's networks and ensure routine safety checks are carried out.
  • Diagnose and resolve most PC, printer, and peripheral device faults.
  • Maintain electronic mail accounts and implement where appropriate.
  • Ensure the safe disposal of obsolete equipment, used consumables, and waste materials per recognized procedures and legal requirements.
Requirements
  • IT Degree/Diploma
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, SQL, PHP, JAVA Script, and CSS
  • Ability to speak one or more Asian languages is highly desirable
  • Clear concise communication skills
  • Australian Citizen/Australian Permanent Resident preferable
