Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Disability Service Officer to join our team at Love 2 Care. As a Disability Service Officer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our valued clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to service users with diverse needs, including complex behaviors.
  • Assist and encourage the positive development of skills and abilities in all areas of the participant's life.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities to identify their needs, goals, and aspirations, and develop individualized plans to achieve them.
  • Provide information, support, and advocacy to individuals with disabilities to help them access services and programs.
  • Coordinate and monitor the provision of services and programs, including identifying and resolving issues.

Requirements

  • AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Strong understanding of disability issues, including accessibility and inclusion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

What We Offer

  • Annual salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Superannuation contributions in accordance with Australian law
