Therapeutic Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Youth Worker to provide support and guidance to children and young people aged 15-18 who have experienced childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect.

Our team works closely with families, carers, and communities to create safe and supportive environments where young people can grow and develop. We are passionate about breaking down barriers and building better lives, and we are looking for someone who shares our vision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to young people
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to help young people achieve their goals
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Community Services or related field (or higher), or relevant experience and a willingness to complete the qualification
  • A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
